Paul Tough blogs about Promise Neighborhoods!

This week, Paul Tough, author of Whatever It Takes: Geoffrey Canada’s Quest to Change Harlem and America – a book that thoughtfully researches and describes Geoffrey Canada and the Harlem Children’s Zone model - commented about the Promise Neighborhoods grant program on his book blog. He notes two communities who are planning to apply for the Promise Neighborhoods grant, White Center near Seattle, WA and a group in Austin, TX.  In April, Tough highlighted Savannah, GA, Woodlawn in  Chicago, Charleston, SC,Providence, RI and others.
