Affordable Care Act (ACA) Grants for School-Based Health Centers Capital (SBHCC) Program Guidance Announced

Our friends at the National Assembly on School-Based Health Care (NASBHC) have posted information on their website about theHealth Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) federal guidance on the “Affordable Care Act (ACA) Grants for School-Based Health Centers Capital (SBHCC) Program” announced today!

NASBHC states that the “goal of the program is to award funds for construction, renovation, and/or equipment expenses, made available by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to support expanded capacity of school-based health centers (SBHCs) to provide primary health care services to school-aged children.”

Approximately $100 million will be granted to 200 or more applicants in FY 2011. The application deadline is December 1, 2010.
