UNCA Report: What It Took- Lessons Learned from the First Cohort of Promise Neighborhoods Planning Grant Applications
Last week, UNCA announced and posted their new report, What It Took- Lessons Learned from the First Cohort of Promise Neighborhoods Planning Grant Applications.
The report looks at the following questions: What did it take to become a Promise Neighborhoods grantee? What will it take for them to be successful?
From the report: “Based on a review of all 21 Promise Neighborhoods grantee applications, their peer review comments, and memoranda of understanding (MOUs), it covers such topics as project design, organizational capacity, community involvement, work with local schools, project funding, and replicability.” Check it out here.
